When I first met Troy as an adolescent he was a professional surfer who I looked up to. At an early age I got sponsored by Volcom which I ended up representing for over 18 years and Troy was my boss. I began to look up to him even more because he would always fight for what and who he believed in. He has always meant something more for me. As I grew into a young adult, I looked to Troy for guidance in my career. As an adult I looked to Troy as a friend and mentor for the “real life” bumps in the road.
